Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight

 

 

Despues de hacer los exitosos discos con Genesis y Brand X, Phil Collins en el tiempo que estuvo componiendo, lejos de la banda, tuvo su primer matrimonio lo cual le trajo muchas atrocidades en el ambito personal, lo cual lo llevaron a seguir componiendo en su primer album como solista realizado en 1981 llamado "Face Value", que contiene canciones desoladoras de como muestra la transparencia de su relacion con su primera esposa, mostrando lo romantico, las mentiras y el engaño, en el album salen canciones reflejadas como "In The Air Tonight", "I Missed Again", "Behind The Lines" perteneciente a Duke de Genesis, version Funk y la jazzera "If You Leaving Me Is Easy", antes Phil Collins habia hecho un demo de "Againts All Odds", pero no quizo incluirla en el album, lanzandola como single en 1983.

"In The Air Tonight" es una de las canciones mas conocidas de Phil Collins que tiene a lo largo de su carrera musical, con el disco llego a los top charts, la cancion habla de los engaños y mentiras de su ex-esposa...
